A Salt Lake City Native, Joshua graduated from the University of Utah in 2004 with a BA Degree in Spanish and Economics.
While still a university student, he gained valuable experience in retail mortgage lending at Trio Capital, where he was tasked with the responsibility of managing a team of 6 loan officers while meeting his own sales goals at the same time. In 2003 and 2004 he was recognized as the highest funding loan officer at the company.
In 2005, Joshua left Trio Capital to work for Argent Mortgage as a Wholesale Account Executive. His success and dedication at Argent led to his recognition as a "Top Funder in the Alt A Offering", and he was responsible for growing a broker base that consistently funded $7-10 million per month.
The real estate downturn sent Josh on a new adventure where he started an Insurance brokerage that offered individual health insurance. In 2011, this company was acquired by a larger firm in the region.
Since then, he has been active in investing in and managing multiple real estate projects, while maintaining an active lending license. In 2015, Josh brought together the founding members and team of Padzu Park City Vacation Rentals.
